Without further adeiu, here are my photo sets for the 2007 North Shore Inline Marathon. It took me a bit longer than usual to get them out, due to the sheer number of great pictures, and the nasty cold that I seem to have picked up over the weekend (considering the temperature it's no wonder).
Rather than set up a single gallery with 500+ photos, I've divided them into two groups. The first is a "highlights" album, with the shots that I thought were really cool. Everything in this group is cropped, color-corrected, straightened, and generally fixed up as necessary. I've tried to keep the size of this album to about 200 shots. The second group is the "overflow" group, basically everything that didn't make it into the first group. Here you will find a lot of the shots of people not wearing fancy skinsuits, though this is not always the case. Items in this category have not been cleaned up at all. Many of the photos do not have the full sized versions available online, and all versions are watermarked. If you would like the the full sized versions of any photo, just email me the file names and I will get them sent over to you as soon as I can. My email address is tomATinlinepicsDOTcom. I am also extending a request for help in tagging the photos in the sets. It would be really cool if you could search for your bib number or name and have the pictures of you come up, just like the pro-sites. I don't have the time to do it all myself due to the sheervolume of pictures, but if everyone who visits the gallery tags a couple of photos it would be easy work. I have enabled comments in the galleries, so take a moment to look closely at a couple photos and enter all of the bib numbers you see as a comment (below the photo). If you know the names of the people in the picture or want to add a caption for the photo, even better. If everyone can help out, this could be killer. I have tagged a couple of photos already, click here to see what I'm talking about, check the comments below the photo. Rating is also enabled, so go ahead and rate pictures if you like. I'll get off my soapbox now, since I know you all came to look at pictures rather than read my prattle. |
